Deanna Casa
Clinic Volunteer
Deanna Casa is currently completing her third year of an Honours undergraduate degree in psychology at York University. Her goal is to pursue graduate school in psychology and a career in counselling and psychotherapy. Deanna identifies strongly with Integrative Psychology Centre’s focus on providing holistic, inclusive, and culturally-safe mental health services. Her experiences as a competitive gymnastics coach inspired her interests in Sport Psychology and helping individuals understand and optimize the mind-body connection as it relates to sport and performance.
A passion for helping others and commitment to community
Deanna identifies as a learner and enjoys working alongside the team at Integrative Psychology Centre. She is a valued team member and brings with her a foundation in psychology, passion for helping others, and commitment to community. She enjoys using her creative skills and collaborating with team members to meet client and community needs. Deanna hopes to build and expand her knowledge base in psychology, gain exposure to different therapy approaches and learn skills that will inform next steps in her academic and professional career.
